I bought this keyboard to replace as my primary keyboard for my office use. I had a BT keyboard for a number of years that I would sync up to 2 Macbook Pros and an android tablet. But lately it seemed to be eating AAA batteries so I was looking for something I could recharge. I've had this for a couple months now and it is great. I have paired it up to 4 devices and it works great, however I can only use 3 but that is okay as I still have the older keyboard for the device that is not used as much. I like how I can switch devices without having to use the function keys F1, F2, etc which was troublesome during macbook pro use. The feel of the keyboard is similar to my older keyboard and that of the Macbook Pro. The charge seems to last a long while as well. I've only recharged this keyboard once since I received it - with heavy use. The BT (blue tooth) connectivity works well but I also have the devices in sight of the keyboard, but I have not had any drop offs while typing nor any weird delays. Typing is mostly quiet and if someone else in in the same room, it will less likely drive them nuts listening to you type - unlike a mechanical keyboard which I have at a PC at the other end of my long desk unit in my office. The only thing I wish it had was some feet to extend up when I need it to slant towards me more. It's okay as is 90% of the time though using at a standing desk or at normal desk height and sitting in a desk chair. Charging time might be a bummer if in the middle of typing up a big project. I am not sure how long it takes as I had to use my older keyboard temporarily while this one charged. I left for my office that day and didn't unplug this one from the charger until the next day when I returned. So have a backup keyboard solution or plan ahead to recharge it once you know the approx battery life for your usage patterns. Note that you can also turn this keyboard off when not in use to extend the batter life, if desired/needed. Overall I'm pleased and would recommend the keyboard if one needed a multi-device solution or even wanted a keyboard that felt similar to a laptop's keyboard. This keyboard was half the price of my older one so it is a great value and I highly recommend it if you are already on the fence and considering it.

I got this Macally Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Numeric Keypad because I had gotten a used Mac Mini on eBay, and since that particular listing did NOT include a keyboard or mouse (it didn't include a display monitor either but I didn't need one, since I was planning to connect the Mac Mini to my Sony Bravia TV to use the Mac as an entertainment center/hub) and as I'd never before had a Mac-based computer necessitating those peripherals (I've had a MacBook Pro laptop but never needed a keyboard or mouse since the keyboard and trackpad is built into it) I didn't have & needed to get a Mac-compatible keyboard and mouse. I could have just gotten a keyboard & mouse direct from Apple but after buying the Mac Mini, I didn't want to spend another hundred each on a keyboard and mouse. So I went on Amazon to look for a cheaper Mac-compatible keyboard and mouse, and at first, I bought the Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo because the listing said that it was compatible with Mac. But it wasn't, at least not in my case. Not only did it NOT work with my Mac Mini, but actually it crashed the entire system such that even after I bought this Macally Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Numeric Keypad and VicTsing Slim Wireless Mouse the Mac Mini was still unusable, and I'm now planning to sell it for parts/repair. Eventually I got another Mac Mini on eBay, and though this particular listing included a keyboard and mouse, since I already had this Macally Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Numeric Keypad and VicTsing Slim Wireless Mouse and the keyboard included with the Mac Mini was missing keys and looked different from a regular keyboard, I decided to just use THIS keyboard instead, and so far, so good! Granted, I have not used it that much yet, since I just got my Mac Mini and hooked it all up, and its not my primary computer anyway (I usually use my MacBook Pro, as well as my iPad Mini & iPhone). But so far, it seems to be a GREAT keyboard. Its sleek and slim like the Apple keyboard, but without being too small/compact, and has the ability to accommodate at least 3 Bluetooth devices (not simultaneously though, AFAIK) and I not only connected it to my Mac Mini, but even though I already had/have a compact keyboard for my iPad Mini & iPhone, I still connected this keyboard to it, for the times when I want a bigger keyboard while using those devices. Also, though I haven't yet had a chance to use all the features of this keyboard, like the 20 Mac-specific shortcut keys, but I like knowing that I have them, if & when I need or want to use them. Since I've only used this for a couple/few days, I'll probably have to come back later to update this review as more time goes on. But for now, I'm very satisfied with this Macally Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Numeric Keypad and look forward to using it with my Mac Mini and other devices for a long, LONG time! ★☆★☆★ 5 STARS!!!!

Overall this is a very nice keyboard and works very well with the MacOS system. It's responsive, it has great battery life, and works without issue with my Mac Mini. That being said whenever you charge it and accidentally flip off the power switch, when you turn it back on it requires you to go back through the system setup for it and does not keep a memory of the keyboard because it does not use a driver and Macally does not have their own software. Also there's no backlight, and there's no way to adjust the height of the keyboard off the desk surface. I purchased a keyboard riser and that seemed to help quite a bit. If they offered this keyboard with software to stay connected to the computer, backlit lighting, a real high performance matching mouse, and a little bit more ergonomic keys that weren't just flat it would be a game changer and full five stars across the board.

I bought a new Apple iMac computer to replace an old one. The new one came with a nice cordless (Bluetooth) keyboard, but it didn’t have the numeric keypad. This Macally keyboard was considerably less expensive than the Apple equivalent, although the reviews were mixed. The Macally keyboard is more substantial than the Apple. It paired quickly with the iMac, and it was ready for use immediately. The keyboard feel is quite good. Some reviewers complained about battery life and having to replace batteries. This keyboard came with a micro-USB port to charge the rechargeable batteries, a definite plus in my view. I have only started using the keyboard, and I look to getting more experience with it to give a better review, but at this point, I’m very satisfied. My only complaint would be that the "Command" buttons are only about half the size of those on the Apple keyboards, and I use Command a lot. Update March 15, 2019: I've now had this keyboard for over a year, and I thought I'd do a small update. So far, the keyboard is working great. I've had absolutely no issues with battery life to date, and it's easy to charge. One of the complaints in the reviews I read prior to buying this keyboard was that it disconnected from its paired device periodically. I, too, find that to be a little bit of a problem, as after a period of inactivity I'll see a notice pop up on my iMac that the keyboard has disconnected. However, simply hitting any key will cause it to immediately reconnect, so I can't say it's been a problem, just more of a nuisance, since the Apple keyboards don't do this. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with this keyboard.

I cannot believe this keyboard is THIS good at THIS price! It works BETTER than the OEM that was $100 more! The pairing is epically easy and fast. The on/off button is super convenient. The shortcut keys save more time than I could have imagined. The number keypad is super convenient, even more than I imagined it would be. The quality of this keyboard is quite good! I really like the tactile feel of the keys, much better than the OEM. I wish I would have known about this keyboard BEFORE I bought the OEM that failed after a few years.

I got this keyboard for my iPad Pro and occasionally my old Mac 27" whose keyboard kicked the bucket after many years of service. I was under the impression that this was compatible with Apple devices ("keyboard for Mac...", "compatible Apple keyboard...", "iMac multi device...") It was even designed to look and feel like an Apple keyboard. I couldn't get it to work so I thought I was doing something wrong. I came back to Amazon to see if there were any solutions or steps I missed. When "Rufus" was asked if the keyboard was compatible with iPad, it stated it was not compatible with iPads. However when asked it if can connect to multiple Apple devices the response was, "...Customers say it's easy to switch between a MacBook, iPhone, and iPad. I was going to return it to the UPS Drop-off (no label or box necessary) but that option was not there. I don't have the patience or bandwidth to repackage for shipping and printing labels plus standing in long line so I'm just going to leave it in the donation/exchange section in our building. Well that was a complete waste of time and money 😩

I bought this keyboard over a year ago and it's worked flawlessly. I connect it to my 2014 Mac Mini, My iPhone 7, then later my iPhone Xr & my iPad. It's super easy to switch between connections and I use it nearly daily. It's perfect... UNTIL - this morning. Through my own sheer incompetence, I spilled an entire cup of coffee on it. Amazingly, nearly all of the keys work, even though they took a thorough dousing. I say "nearly" because the number pad is now broken. When I press the 2 key, the 2 & 3 are keyed in. When I press the 5, the 5 & 6 are key in, etc. I'm very sad. I'm letting it dry out entirely before I officially give up - but I will be buying another one if I cannot get it working again over the next couple of days. I will say I was impressed that it even powered on & worked aftward. I don't believe this is advertised as being waterproof, and who would expect it to be honestly? but it's "kind of" waterproof. <<EDITED>> It IS waterproof!!! I removed a couple of the buttons while trying to clean it out better, and found that the keyboard was not actually damaged by the coffee. When I was initially cleaning it after the spill, some of the keys must have become wedged in a way that they were constantly being pressed. After removing the wedged keys & reinstalling them - all systems are good to go. This is a FANTASTIC keyboard!

It stopped working, and the support team will not support me as I live overseas. I bought the product almost one year ago. The product has stopped working, and after the support team could not resolve the issue via email they told me they cannot contact me as I am overseas. Clearly this is disappointing to say the least as...
