Review: Great rc transmitter. - There are many rc remotes out there but this one is an awesome value transmitter. Out of the box I saw that this remote was well packaged. This was used for a combat robotics project and suited my needs. Easy to use and program. Performance is great for a budget remote.
Review: The most common transmitter used for battlebots and this is the one to buy - Everybody seems to buy the Flysky FS-i6 for the 1 pound battle bot competitions. It's the go-to transmitter because it just works. I researched quite a bit, because there appears to be many manufacturers who use the Flysky name. I purchased this one because the brand is listed as FlySky. I'm not even sure if this is important, maybe there are all the same? It worked right out of the box. For battle bots, you may need to change some of the sensitivity settings and stick controls. I found this to be confusing, but there are many videos available that helped me get it right. I didn't win the competition, but that's because I'm a lousy driver! This transmitter is a good product.

**Q: How do you put a power switch in-line? There has to be a better way than plugging the battery directly into the Rx?**
A: Sure, just add a short extension cord for the battery, easily available from many suppliers, and add a small power switch, many varieties available from those same suppliers, to the red line. (Meaning cut the red line and solder the two poles of the switch to the line you just cut.)

**Q: What transmitter is compatible with Spektrum??**
A: Not any of the newer receivers.

**Q: Can i use this for a sailboat with a multiple turns servo winch?**
A: Typically yes. It does depend on the servo. I use it with the HS785-HB with close to 4 turns at 120% on transmitter.

**Q: Is the output of the receiver ppm or sbus?**
A: Hi,
The flysky fs-ia6 supports PWM output only.
You can choose fs-i6x+fs-ia6b, it is supported PPM and SBUS.
