The one issue that is slightly annoying is that if you have a variable cycle length you are advised to use the shortest length, this us fine but then it means you may get a message saying to stop testing before high fertility has been shown. I usually ignore this now and continue testing for a few more sticks and have always had a high fertility. The good thing about the testing system is it allows you to learn your cycle so you can know when to ignore these messages. Some of the negative comments on here are clearly from people who cannot read the instructions. If you put the first day of your period into the app and tell it your cycle length it will then tell you when to start testing. I usually started testing on day 7, the system needs some baseline results in order to pick up the increase in hormones. I usually used about 10 test sticks per cycle. **Q: Can this be used to test if you are able to have children, testing for infertility?** A: It will show when ovulation happens, ovulation doesn’t happen if infertile but would get tested if unsure of fertility **Q: Did you have difficulty connecting the device to your phone i cant get the app to connect to the holder?** A: No problems connecting, it connected straight away. Sometimes I used to take the test and forget about it so the results were no longer visible, but they show up again if you eject the stick. I can only find refills for the other ovulation kit clearblue sells with the monitor.** A: You can’t buy refill of this product. You have to buy a new package including the new holder. But you can continue use the old holder. I decided to give it a go. After using this product it annoys me that some of the negative reviews are clearly from people who haven’t read the instructions properly. You get one handle and 25 test sticks that insert into it! I found it very easy to set up the Bluetooth and with the app which made it easy to work. The first time you use one of the sticks with the handle you will ALWAYS get a circle as it has nothing to go off of for your hormones. The app will tell you what CD to take your first test. I took my first test at CD 7 and got the circle as expected. CD 8-14 I got the flashing smiley face in which we BD everyday. CD 15-16 was the static smiley face as my peak in which we also BD. Once you get your static smiley it will be on the screen for 2 days and you won’t be able to use another stick during this time!! The app helped us a lot to let us know when we should BD. The smiley faces are nicer than trying to read if a line is as dark or darker like your typical OPK’s. 12 DPO and just found out I’m pregnant. First month using this product along side using Conceive Plus. I truly believe this product is the reason I am now pregnant. There is none of this trying to figure out if something is positive or negative it tells you straight with a circle, flashing smiley or static smiley.
