Wouldn't hesitate to buy again. Review: Airspy R2 Works Great but came with very old firmware which didn't work out of the box.... - Received my R2 today, it was to replace an existing RTL-SDR V3 Dongle, which was working fine but I wanted to upgrade. After plugging it in, I tuned it but there was something not quite right, the signal itself could not be decoded. After a couple of hours of looking around, I checked the firmware version and found it was from 2016.... Updated it to the 2020 version and everything worked great. Really disappointing to received this Airspy R2 with such out of date firmware on it.....
