Review: Does what it says in the tin - Works well and speads coating up miniatures. Need to use though when there is absolutely zero wind outside, not even a small breeze. Or you'll end up with it all over your hands very easily.
Review: The only varnish that has ever left a frosting on my miniatures - The can is easy to use and features a large spray button (ideal for my big fingers, so no slipping). However, after having had no trouble with any other varnishes over the years, I've found that this one created a level of clouding/frosting on my miniatures. It may have been user error, but the instructions were followed carefully. I fixed this with some olive oil and a re-varnish with another brand, but the extra work wasn't welcome.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it protect paint? Is it water resistant?**
A: Yes.  But, the primary use of this product is to protect the (usually) acrylic paint on a miniature from abrasion and handling.  Water proofing isn’t generally a concern.  If you are not intending to use this on gaming pieces, there is probably a better product for your specific use.

**Q: are certain types of masks required while using this product?**
A: When priming or varnishing anything you probably should wear a mask just to protect yourself, I only use one if I am spraying a lot of models otherwise I go without. Cheapest option is those general masks we wear for covid restrictions but if you are going to be super safe a painters mask will do just fine.
