I was having difficulty in finding a suitable joystick for my Apple Mac as most joysticks seemed to be for the PC. However, this particular joystick was listed by desertcart as being not computer specific. I read all its reviews and at least one reviewer said that although the box said PC, it was immediately recognized and accepted by his Mac. So I bought one and it does indeed work fine with my own Mac. A Windows machine initially displays the 'New hardware detected' message, but the Mac just accepts it and has it available when a suitable program is loaded. As regards the joystick itself - it's brilliant. Sturdily built, smooth operation and stays put without the need for suction cups. It is really a right-handed joystick but a left-handed friend didn't even notice! All-in-all well worth having and I hope my reassurance on it being Mac compatible will help other Mac users.
