**Q: How long is the blade, please**
A: Hi the handle is 10cm and the blade 10cm long. Both about 2cm wide.

**Q: How sharp is this? Would this glide through a tomato or will it squeeze down first?**
A: It is sharp and will glide through a tomato. Like all knives it will need sharpening eventually.

**Q: I thought this was advertised as a British product. Where is it made?**
A: It bears brand name of Richardson Sheffield, but was made in China. Actually I like them, although they are made of thinner steel than original UK manufactured ones.

This was a bit bigger than I'd expected for a paring knife (I really should check the measurements in the description!!) but it's a brilliant knife. Very sharp and ideal for vegetables and hard fruits. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

Be warned: this is a very sharp knife! I know this because I’ve just cut my finger trying to remove it from the terrible packaging! Basically, the knife is sheathed in a cardboard wallet, but held in place with very strong cow gum. Trying to remove the gum from the blade was a chore, and I had to resort to using nail polish remover to clean it off. Cuts ensued!! Otherwise, a great knife :)
