The material is softer than I anticipated, but it's not flimsy whatsoever. A little grippy, which I like. However, I have two gripes with this case. First, the ringer on/off switch is set deep within the case, with no way to flip it with my man fingers other than reaching for it with a fingernail. It's do-able. Second, and more importantly, the case obstructs the charging port. I have one of the more popular aftermarket cables, and it only fits with force, pushing in on the case awkwardly. Luckily I mostly wireless charge, but keep this in mind! Overall I would order again, just for the fact that the case is so nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a phone case...... *by J***B on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2019* The iPhone X S Max is a big phone anyway and I didn't want a case that would make it feel like I was carrying a brick in my back pocket. This one is slim and hugs the phone tight. It's easy to put on and take off, but I haven't had any issues with it slipping off when I didn't want it to. It's got good grip, but it doesn't have that sticky rubber feel so it slips in and out of my pocket easily. The button pads line up perfectly with the buttons on the phone so there's no issue there. The cut-out for the charging port could be bigger to accommodate aftermarket cords and the cut-out for the silent switch on the side could be tapered to make it easier to get to. I have to let my fingernails grow some in order to get in there to flip the switch. I wanted a Magpul case, but they don't make one for that phone yet (at least not at that time). The material is easy to grip but will not catch on clothing. I can easily pull this phone out of tight pockets with any snagging. I have owned the case for over 3 months and I am totally satisfied. I have the Xs max, which is the heaviest iPhone to date so having a light durable case is important. I noticed the case will stay β€œgrippy” even when wet! A Tactical iPhone case at its best!
