I just bought a second set in another color. I bought my first set August 2014, almost two years ago, and they are still in great condition. My first set is only now beginning to pill a little, and we have used them as our only set of sheets with frequent washings since buying them. Previously, I had bought two sets of the RE microfiber sheets from Target for the same price ($25/ per set). Even rotating those target sets, they both pilled alot, in less than six months of use. In comparison, these Elegance Linen sheets are thicker (but not too heavy/warm), feel more luxe, and hold up so much better. I was surprised at the quality of these sheets for the price, and I think they are an excellent value.Also, I honestly don't understand why some people thought they bought 100% Egyptian cotton for $20 + shipping. First, in what universe can you get 100% cotton sheets for the same price as the cheapest target microfiber sheets? Second, the product description clearly says microfiber in the first line and again "Micro fiber sheets are as soft as 1,500 thread count Egyptian cotton" in a later line. If you normally buy sheets in this price range, you see that many companies advertise microfiber sheets the same way - because microfiber is really soft! Microfiber is probably not as thick as cotton and maybe won't last as long as cotton. (I wouldn't know, I've never spent more than $50 - also polyester - on sheets.) Love them!Like the last set I purchased, the pockets are deep and can contain both my mattress and the cooling mattress pad without slipping off in the middle of the night - a problem that used to occur EVERY night and wake me up, force me out of bed to fix it, and interrupt my sleep.
