The light is somewhat heavy for a AA battery light. It fits the hand very well and has a heft to it that gives it a good feel. I was unsure about the triangular shape but I like it quite a bit. There are only two modes for the light (low, high) but they work well. The tail cap switch is solid and feels well made. The light has a slightly crenellated bezel. It isn't sharp and helps protect the lens. It is a little large to be an everyday carry light for me. Seems like it would work well for self defense. The light is well focused and comes on a high to start with. The triangle shape helps it fit in your hand well and the extra weight would be useful for striking. It does not have a strobe. Overall, this is an excellent flashlight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Flashlight *by T***N on January 6, 2013* I had one that I lost on the job doing a building inspection. The latest version of this light seems a bit wider in diameter, but felt better in my hands. Over the years I have had for my line of work as an inspector numerous flashlights from xenon bulbs to LED lights. This is by far the best flashlight that I have owned. Matter of fact when I had ordered this new replacement flashlight and went to a bridge inspection job for Amrtak the guys could not believe the light. I wanted a strong flashlight with fairly decent battery life that is not heavy or bulky. This flashlight does everything I want and would buy another one in a heart beat. Best thing is the flashlight uses AA batteries and not that costly lithium CR123 batteries. ### ⭐ Doesn’t work *by K***D on April 15, 2020* Color ordered- titanium. Color received- black.
