Review: Superb quality at an affordable price - I was looking for a descent pair of binoculars for bird watching as well as moon gazing. I'm no expert, but after much research and deliberation I convinced myself that the Maven 10x42 was what I was looking for. I based this on user reviews on desertcart as well as YouTube. I am really very impressed with this product. The image is clear, bright and crisp. Even in low light conditions, I feel like these binoculars perform well. Quality is tough and rugged. Adjustable eye rings a huge plus. All of that and the Maven's come with a sturdy canvas bag for storage. 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this product. Great job, Maven!
Review: Really impressive - I’m no expert in this field but without doubt these are the best binoculars I’ve looked through. Clarity right tho the edges and really crisp bright image. They feel quality too. I really didn’t intend to spend much but these punch above their weight and I’m pleased I made the purchase. I ordered the hard case too. At 20 usd that was a bargain too.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Anyone looked through the carson 3d ed and could compare with these, thanks**
A: I have. The Mavens have good glass but the overall package felt quite cheap. The Carsons are good but not as sharp. To throw a spanner in the works the Hawke Frontier ED X are superior to both by some margin.

**Q: do these have a tripod thread please**
A: Yes it does, Standard thread. I coupled mine with a vanguard ba185 adapter and Neewer tripod.

**Q: Which country is this actually manufactured in please?**
A: The C Series are made in the Philippines

**Q: Are they heavy ?**
A: Not really - brilliant glass tho :)
