Review: My all time go to writing utensil - This pen / marker is amazing!! I write in print / cursive and Korean and it comes out perfect every time. No smear. Just the write fine line Not sure though how long they last but mines still holding strong!! Review: Great little pen! - If you're a left-handed person like me, you can appreciate a good pen when you find one. We south paws struggle with a few key things: smearing, hand fatigue, and just the general scratchy sensation of most pens on paper due to positioning. While this pen doesn't pretend to be a fountain pen or a high-end ball point, I really love it for its smoothness on paper, as well as for writing, particularly long-form journaling. The nib seems to connect to the paper without giving me the typical sensation of the pen running ahead of me, causing my penmanship to look chaotic and less controlled (which is why my hand doesn't tire with this pen, even after longer periods of writing). The tip of the pen is on the smaller side and the ink dries fast enough that I never have any issues with smearing. Another bonus: extremely minimal ghosting on the other side of the paper, which can be typical with felt-tips. Overall, this pen is a good one to have in your arsenal, especially if you're left-handed and you love to write. Great price-point, too! ## Features - Monami plus pen 3000 is one of the most popular steady selling pen in Korea. - Water based ink. - Fine point sign pen. - 12pcs per 1 pack - Cap and body color matches ink color ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00NRQMFY8 | | Additional Features | Precision Tip, Color-Matched Design | | Age Range Description | Children | | Best Sellers Rank | #97,364 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #2,511 in Ballpoint Pens | | Body Shape | Cylindrical | | Brand | MONAMI | | Brand Name | MONAMI | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,007 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Included Components | 12 pens | | Ink Base | Water | | Ink Color | Black | | Is Waterproof | false | | Item Diameter | 0.4 millimeters | | Item Dimensions | 0.9 x 6.7 x 2.7 inches | | Item Weight | 3.2 ounces | | Line Size | 0.4 millimetre | | Manufacturer | Monami | | Manufacturer Part Number | 2040003713 | | Marker Type | Permanent Marker | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | SG_B00NRQMFY8_US | | Number of Items | 12 | | Number of Pieces | 12 | | Pattern | Solid | | Point Type | Fine | | Recommended Uses For Product | Coloring,Drawing | | Style | Fine | | Surface Recommendation | Paper | | Target Audience | Adult | | Theme | Art | | UPC | 799198901106 782854067964 | | Unit Count | 12 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Writing Instrument Form | Marker Pen | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MONAMI - **Ink Color:** Black - **Number of Items:** 12 - **Point Type:** Fine - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Coloring,Drawing ## Images ![Plus Pen 3000 Felt Tip Pens, Fine Point (0.4mm), Fine Liner, Writing/Journaling/Note Taking at home, school and office, Black, 12-Count - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vLG55hapL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you highlight over the ink** A: I just tested them now, it looks like the black smears a lot no matter how long you leave it to dry. However the blue ink barely smears even right after using it, and pink does not at all. These are the only colours I have at the moment, hope this helps! **Q: how long do these pens last with long use?** A: Thank you for question. It depends on how often do you use it in a day...In my experience, It pretty lasts longer than others.Thank you. **Q: How stable is the ink (water resistance, fade, etc)?** A: It is the opposite of water resistance. I like this pen because it makes me feel good at hand writing, more than fountain pens. It is very smooth, but a drop of water could smudge the writings. **Q: Do these smear and or smudge if you use alcohol markers?** A: yes they smear, even with normal use, was not thrilled with them ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My all time go to writing utensil *by N***A on December 4, 2025* This pen / marker is amazing!! These pens dry fast, don't smudge, are suuuper smooth and my art students love using them! I will definitely buy them again ( if these ever die, they show no sign of it yet! ) ## Frequently Bought Together - MONAMI Plus Pen 3000 Felt Tip Pens, Fine Point (0.4mm), Fine Liner, Writing/Journaling/Note Taking at home, school and office, Black, 12-Count - MONAMI Plus Pen 3000 Felt Tip Pens, Fine Point (0.4mm), Fine Liner, Writing/Journaling/Note Taking at home, school and office, Blue, 12-Count - Monami Plus 3000 Office Sign Pen Felt Tip Water Based Ink Color Pen Complete Red,Blue,Black Dozen Box --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/10930142-plus-pen-3000-felt-tip-pens-fine-point-0-4mm](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/10930142-plus-pen-3000-felt-tip-pens-fine-point-0-4mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
