The book shows that Mobile Payment is no Tech Spec. It's not magic. It's a business deciscion, a strategy and then a combination of Innovation, business and technology. That's what the book shows in its chapters and that's what the books differs from others. A theoretical and practical, useful approach.It'surprising that the Ground Zero of Mobile P2P-Payments is located in Kenya (M-PESA). Japan (Osaifu-Keitai), Corea and China are the usual suspects.I like to read the chapter about Management of Innovation and the 19 recommendations.

This book provides a useful introduction to mobile payment technologies, market and strategies. The contactless FeliCa technology and Near Field Communication (NFC) are dominant. Case studies are presented to illustrate different mobile payment solutions which include the big players like VISA PayWave, MasterCard PayPass, PayPal and Google Wallet. However, little technical details are covered.Summing up, I reckon that the readers will become more knowledgable about mobile payments in their country!
