I bought it in Indigo to carry when I wear jeans, and it pulled together my outfit beautifully. While the bottom of it is reinforced into an oval shape to make to sit flat on the floor like a satchel, its sides have nothing rigid between the outer pebbled leather and their signature polyester inner lining to make the purse stand up straight as shown in the photos here. The purse will collapse in on itself into a shape of its own on any surface, something that would be an issue with most people. Mine tends to stand relatively upright due to the contents I put into it -- primarily, a sketchbook I never travel without; it gives it a rigidity of its own. I also always carry an 8-oz plastic bottle of water, which fits with a perfect snugness inside the larger of the two open but elasticized inner wall pockets. The decorative stitching and the tasseled keychain with irregular lengths of leather fringe (each bearing a metal ball near its end and, I believe, tied off to hold it in place) give it a more expensive look than it'd have without those two design elements. The Indigo color could not be richer and draws attention to it by itself. I carried it for the first time just this past week, and even my husband was struck by what a beautiful handbag it is. When my husband compliments me on a new purse I've bought, I know I have something special. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful classy and leather *by K***E on July 19, 2018* I am not a big fan of purses, nor would I spend an entire paycheck on one. I do however love leather purses and am very picky about how they are shaped. This purse has a sexy outline and luxurious smelling buttery feeling leather. I love The Sak brand and quality. Wish there were different designs available for the inner lining. Outer pocket is perfect for cell phone. Have been wearing this purse for over a year now. It has not torn or scuffed. The top canvas like material that has the zipper has faded a bit. Hangs at the right height and does not slump down my shoulder. Would buy again. Bought the matching wallet as well and loved it too. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Love the color but the bag is bigger than the description states *by M***Q on April 11, 2014* The color is a little more red-orange than it appears on the computer, but it's still a nice color.The dimensions listed in the description are not correct--the bag is actually 16.5" long, not 11". The Sak website has the correct dimensions (which I verified by measuring them myself).This discrepancy is a bit of a disappointment because the bag is bigger than than I wanted.On the plus side, it's a very light bag even though it's leather. Also, the leather straps actually have fabric on the inside hem so that you don't have leather rubbing against your skin. It has 3 pockets on the inside, 1 with a zipper.I'd prefer silver hardware over the gold color that it comes with, but it's still a nice looking bag.
