Even the small has a ton of room for layers underneath. I do wish it was a tiny bit less boxy but otherwise, this jacket is amazing. Its warm, beautiful, made well and worth every penny. The hood is not a deep hood as it slightly deep regular fleece hood with the wool pixie hood over that. The hood does not look like an after thought. Size is a different matter this product runs small I wear a large and figuring this ran Asian sizing I went one size up and I am glad I got the XL. So consider your sizing carefully. Other wise the zipper seems robust and the wool panels are well made and stitched to each other. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not an oversized wizard hood. Just a regular hood with a sock attached . *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2021* Overall i love this jacket and the look. The whole problem is in the "pixie" hood. The picture in the listing shows an oversized, flowing almost wizard like hood. Its just a regular hood on the inside with a skinny, sock-like extension hanging off the back. I haven't in decided if i want to return it or take it to a tailor and have that removed. Shouldn't be terribly difficult given the patchwork nature of the rest of it. What is sure is that i will not wear it like it is. The sock thing looks absolutely ridiculous and I feel like they know that since they took pictures of much different hood.
