Review: Safety switch! - An excellent switch. Red plastic cover is NOT waterproof but is designed to prevent accidental switching on when closed. I have it on an 18V portable table saw and here it makes a fantastic safety feature. To switch on the safety cap is raised and the switch can be moved to the on position. The red cap can be hit quickly in an emergency to switch off. Can’t then be accidentally switched on without lifting the red cap. Very useful!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: might be a silly question but how do you fix these onto a flat surface?**
A: There is a nut on the threaded portion of the switch, undo this and remove it and the washer which is attached to the red cover. Drill a suitable size hole in your flat surface, poke switch through, put washer and red cover on and tighten nut.

**Q: Does it work with a pc?**
A: I don't know why or what you'd use it for on a PC but as long as you don't put more than 12v or 20A through it, then yes!

**Q: Is this a Momentary Switch or just a plain toggle ?**
A: In/off toggle

An excellent switch. Red plastic cover is NOT waterproof but is designed to prevent accidental switching on when closed.
