To be honest, I don't think it's hard wearing, and I'm not expecting it to last very long, although I would be happy to be proven wrong.It is really long. The product desc does state it is for 2 piece rods up to 4.2 meters, where as the product dimensions state 15 x 3 x 10 cm which must be the rolled up rod bag when packaged.The product description text is correct, I think it must be about 2.2 meters in length. So it's long.. I ended up folding mine over at the bottom, cutting off the excess, and sewing it up. I'd guess I needed something about 4 1/2 feet (11 foot rod) so lopped off about a meter of excess.I burned off loose threads, so there can't be much cotton in there.Although it states it is for 2 piece rods, it is not sewn down the center to give separate sections and therefore prevent the rod pieces banging together and damaging the eyes.it is bright blue, so shouldn't get lost in the grass or elsewhere.Although I'm currently using it, it wasn't what I wanted, as it's not going to offer much protection for a rod with fine tips and tiny eyes, so I'm looking for a better alternative. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jarvis Walker Rod Bag large *by L***U on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 March 2016* Excellent quality Rod bag material made from `Rain-Cheater` type Jackets for that odd thunder shower.
