Review: A waste of money. HP's reputation for great printers is going down the tubes. - I sent this back. Here's why: The printer appeared to be like most HP printers, quality and easy to setup. Not as easy as it should have been, as the photo paper feeds from the back, and spits out the front. Additionally, things are changing at HP and while I'd never own one of their laptops, I've been brand loyal to them for their printers since the late 1980s. Their laser printers seem to last forever and I've never had one quit on me, even after years of service. I give or sell them when I no longer need them, rather than trash/recycle them. The last one, I donated to a local charity b/c I needed a network printer. (With a family, the number of devices that need to print add up.) Ditto their ink jets and photo printers. They last forever, too. However, HP has decided that when they discontinue to produce a printer, they want to force their customers to "upgrade". In our home/home office, we use both Mac Os 10.11.2 El Capitan and Windows 10 on the PCs. I couldn't obtain the drivers for either for this printer. That's how they gotcha. You cannot upgrade the drivers so you must get another, more expensive printer, to stay current. I purchased this to upgrade my still-working, but old Photosmart 7150. That photo printer is awesome as it can print 8x10s as well as the smaller 4x6s . Sadly, there are no drivers for this printer for the 7150 either. I'm keeping the Photosmart 7150 since it still works and I have one old PC I built that runs Windows 7. At least I have something that can use it. That PC has been in storage and I've brought it back into service, specifically for that reason. Crazy, right? I do not like how HP has forced me to upgrade. I also ordered ink for it and that's going back, too. I order so much from desertcart and I don't return much, but this was a true disappointment. Lesson learned: Never buy a printer that is manufacturer discontinued. Save your money and try and buy the latest and greatest so it will last the longest. After this experience, I ordered a Polaroid photo printer from Apple. Too bad desertcart didn't have those. Another gripe on "modern ink jets" from many manufacturers. I have a home office. Therefore, I already own a fax, and two different types of scanners, plus a laser printer. I just needed an inkjet printer to print photos and photos only. All the photo printers on the market, it seems, are three-in-ones. Even though they are relatively inexpensive, I don't want to buy what I do not need. At our beach home, a three-in-one was perfect. Here, just plain useless. Used to, such three-in-one printers did none of the fax/scan/copy/print very well. Not so anymore. However, I'd like the choice to just buy a plain old photo printer without all the add ons. I have a nice HP Laserjet networked printer in the home office. I hope I don't have to upgrade it in the near future! When purchasing any brand of ink jet printer these days, buyer beware.
Review: Best Photo Printer out there. - We have one of these at my workplace. It was too slow (1 min per pic) and we needed a faster one. We have gone thru 2 expensive printer and we are back to using this one. Why? the other printers, if not used often will get clogged printhead. cleaning the printhead did not help, needed to buy new printheads. This little printer sat under my desk when they retired it for over a year. Turned it on one day, when our expensive printer would not work, and it printed beautiful pictures. I was sure it would not work, the printheads would be clogged, but it is the most dependable printer I have seen. So I bought myself one for home. Kind of expensive so I went searching on desertcart and found a brand new one for 55.00. So if you are looking for a quality photo printer, HP Photosmart is the best buy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you print from your phone?**
A: No.

**Q: will printer work with sony dslr camera?**
A: The reason I purchased this particular printer is so that I could print 1- 4 different pictures on one 4x6 printer paper sheet. The 325 and 385 I know will function that way, The new ones will print 4 pictures but only 4 of the same picture. . I print from my camera disc card and not directly from the camera. I use this camera at work and didn

**Q: Can this printer accept a 8 gig memory card**
A: Most older printers and digital cameras typically had a 2gb limit. Some went as high as 4gb. So anything above a 2gb memory card, in general, will likely not guess. Have not been able to verify this specifically for this printer, but I'd easily guess an 8gb card would not work.

**Q: What photo paper goes with the photosmart 325 hp printer?**
A: I use Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II. Hope this helps.
