Review: Awesome little contraption - I recently had an air con system installed and was a bit disappointed to find that getting the WiFi enabled model was about £250 more expensive per unit (which quickly adds up when you have more than one). I was researching ideas on how to handle this and came across Sensibo. The ad promised everything and I have to be honest I was a little skeptical on it's promise of compatibility but wow I'm truly impressed by this. It's a neat little unit on a USB charger that in essence acts as a remote control replicator with your device so it's truly plug and play and it took a little over 7 minutes to get it fully operational. I'm super impressed by how easy it is to use and the extended schedules and controls you get via the app. The alexa setup was a little bit trickier because I had to uninstall and reinstall the app but it's a super impressive contraption here and would highly recommend for anyone who wants to take control of their system!
Review: Top gadget - Bought two of these, one for a old Just Coolers heat pump in a garden office and one for a guest room Mitsubishi unit. These devices give me remote control over the air in these rooms and combined with a LightwaveRF smart socket I can monitor power consumption and use the minimum of power to keep the rooms comfortable. The schedule feature will be useful for the garden office during the winter to keep the temperature up and prevent damp without wasting electricity. The APP to control the units is good, clear and easy to use. All I all a really useful and well made piece of kit.

**Q: Do i need to have three seperate sensibo units if i have ac units in different parts of the house? is there some sort of wired extender that plugs in?**
A: You want three separate Sensibo units so you can program each location differently.  That's particularly true if you use the "Climate React" feature which can have the device turn on/off at certain temperatures/humidity levels.  Also, note each one is the IR device that communicates with your device--they need to be in the same room with line of sight.

**Q: Does this work with Pellet Stoves?**
A: No, Sensibo is not compatible with Pellet Stoves.

**Q: does this unit have a motion sensor to automatically turn unit off when you leave and turn back on when you return?**
A: It's based on Geofencing, not a motion sensor. The mode is called Location Awareness which when enabled will turn your a/c off when leaving and on before you arrive.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall good product

It's a bit fiddly to setup but works well now it's installed. I found the range to be limited mine is no more than 2m from the Aircon head unit and even then sometimes fails to cooperate. If you use the app to switch the unit on make sure that nobody uses the old remote to turn it off unintentional setting maybe changed and it won't nesserarly turn off mine went from cooling to heating! All that said I would probably buy another one, it's very useful to be able to control when not at home. I got mine when it was on offer I'm not sure if I would be willing to pay full price.
