Review: Garder snakes got into my pond and were eating my Coy. - I purchased the CAHABA SNAKE TRAP, large. and caught one the first day and two the 2nd day, These darn snakes are excellent swimmers and can stay underwater a long time. I tried to catch them with my net but they were just too fast. They will grab a fish by the tail and start eating it while the fish is still alive and trying to get away. There are still two more snakes near the pond and I hope the trap will get them before they kill any more of my fish. Every winter when the fish "hybernate", I will have babies the following spring. The snakes have eaten all 12 of the young, this year. The snakes also killed one of the larger Coy. Thank goodness for this wonderful trap. Review: Stickiest trap on the market. - I have had mine out for about two months and my water moccasin will not go near it. Be very care putting in the sticky pads. I wasted the first two because they are so sticky that when I accidentally tipped the box up the sticky pad stuck to the top of the box inside. That happened twice. If you follow the instructions and put the sticky pad in the refrigerator, like they suggest, for one minute the paper peels right off. But you have to do it right after you remove it from the fridge or it will go back to being difficult to peel off. Definitely read the instructions. Once you place the sticky pad in the box be very careful not to tilt it. If a rat or snake goes in they will NOT get off that sticky pad. I know because my finger stuck to it. I think the product is good, with me it was user error. One thing I did was attach a long rope to it and tied it to my dock so nothing could drag it away and because I didn’t want my hands too close to the trap if I caught something.

**Q: What's the easiest way to remove snakes from glue paper?**
A: Most of the time glue insert and snake are disposed of and new catch inserts can be ordered on Amazon.  Vegetable oil will neutralize glue and snakes can be removed or released.

**Q: Will this work for big rattlesnakes ?**
A: Large trap will catch snakes up to six feet long, small trap will catch snakes up to two feet long

A: Yes if they are small kittens. We caught a snake in ours!!

### ⭐ Stickiest trap on the market.

I will first start off by saying this does work. Knowing you have a live poisonous snake inside the box while trying to open it, is a little frustrating. I didn't read the details and thought that it was a metal box, but it is a very sturdy corrugated plastic or wax coated cardboard. For me it's a little on the expensive side, but knowing that it works I would have spent twice as much.
