Maybe not for people with extra sensitive skin. Luckily, I don't have sensitive skin at all. There was no redness or irritation. Started to get a little too tingly around 10 minutes so I removed and washed off. The package says to wear for 10-15 minutes. I'm sure 10 minutes was enough. Left my skin very smooth & soft, and also brighter. Clean smell that's not overwhelming, it's just not my personal fave. Some folks might really like it, who knows.
