Review: Two sound amazing as a pair of bookshelf speakers when used vertically - I use a pair of these as a stereo pair in my bedroom hanging on each side of my 42in tv at the foot of the bed. Using these in stereo standing up vertically, these are some of the best speakers that you can buy for the money. Crystal clear sound that's very articulate, and phenomenal imaging. I have been using them like this for 2 years paired with a 15in sub to cover the low end. I wouldn't hesitate to buy 5 of these for a full home theater setup.
Review: Using 3 MB42X-C's as my LCR - I recently upgraded my PC speakers to a near field system using a pair of Micca MB42x's and a Dayton 6.5 powered sub. I should mention that I thoroughly research what I'm thinking of buying by reading a ton of reviews from multiple websites. I liked the Miccas so much I decided to use them as my LCR when I overhauled my home theater. I initially was going to purchase one MB42X-C and two MB42x's but the centers were $10 cheaper, handle more power, are more efficent and you get an extra 4" woofer as a bonus. It was a no brainer. I'm no audiophile, I just know what I like and I really like these speakers. They sound very warm and rich. They're still breaking in but the increase in bass response was immediately apparent. The highs are nice and crisp. They are being pushed by a Denon AVR-S700W receiver with a HSU Research VTF1- MK2 subwoofer handling the low end. The LCR speakers they replaced were three Klipsch Gallery 28's.The Klipschs' were very nice speakers but were designed to be mounted on the wall and I just didn't have the space. The Miccas' will only sound better once broken in so I'm very pleased with my purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Using 3 MB42X-C's as my LCR

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good budget speaker
*by D***2 on May 21, 2018*

I bought this speaker to replace a "tired" Polk center channel speaker. A few adjustments and this speaker sounds as good but not better than the Polk. It appears to be a design and build from 2012 which puts the technology back a few years. It was a good buy and does seem to balance well with the other 7.1 speakers. It requires less power to respond than the larger sleepy Polk. The cabinet is tight with no rattles. The two suspension speakers are made from carbon fiber and give a tight low/midrange. The tweeter is bright sounding but I would not say crisp. The "s" sounds in some music and spoken words extend to a "hiss" ever so slight. Just me I suppose, but I listen for cleaner highs reproduction. All in all a good speaker I'll keep.
