Twenty-five years ago Baffin Footwear began manufacturing insulated and non-insulated footwear products. While traditional molded boots are suitable for some conditions, they are not ideal for cold temperatures. Baffin combines leading molding technology with a foam-based inner boot system, which creates a hybrid style of high-performance footwear. This equates to more warmth, better fit, and superior comfort. Baffin boots are different than most shoes and work boots because the sole and midsole are molded to the base in one continuous process. The sole itself is a marvel of modern engineering because it is made up of several advanced thermo-set polymers that are combined together to achieve the right balance of warmth, protection, low weight and grip. Baffin is dedicated to offering boots with functionality and fashion, while still maintaining their legendary performance.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Only Boots My Husband Wears!

*by D***R on December 5, 2018*

My husband works outside in the mountains of western Colorado - and these are IT!! The removable (cleanable) liners are extremely warm and these babies keep his feet dry during the very long winter days, during a very long winter season he works in various locations at various altitudes. Just don't store them off season where they'll be exposed to extreme summer temps or the rubber WILL break down and you'll only get one good season out of them before they start developing micro-cracks. We learned that one over the last 10 or so years.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm very happy with these boots

*by R***H on February 4, 2015*

Overall, I'm very happy with these boots. I had read that they ran large so I ordered a size smaller. The fit couldn't be more perfect for my foot.I also had read that the upper part was tight. They are tight but not uncomfortably so.So, here's my take on it all. Written to mostly help anyone that is in a similar situation as I. I'm almost 64 years old. I have the normal pains and complaints that go with that age. Plus, I have A-Fib, which means I become winded easily.I have a little trouble putting these on, but, only because of my age and physical problems. Nothing at all to do with the boot it self. I just have trouble getting a foot up to my other knee to get it started and then pull it up. Since it's a "Snug" fit, it takes a little effort to pull them on.Once I have them on, the fit is PERFECT. Foot and leg. I've only worn them with blue jeans on and I always put my pants on the inside of the boot. It takes a little work to get the jeans pushed down inside. Once they're on and everything is all set, they really are very warm and comfortable to wear. I've only been outside with them on for about an hour at a time in Michigan Winter. My feet have never felt the least bit cold whatsoever. It's a hard "Sensation" to explain, but, when I have them on, my feet and legs feel Really Good. Just a "Tad" of pressure, but in NO WAY the feeling that you get from a pair of shoes that are too tight and painful. I know that feeling, and this isn't it. You do feel "Warm & Secure" in these boots. If that makes sense. Many times when I come in from outside, I take off all of the heavy coats and cloths and hats and gloves, but, I leave the boots on for a half hour or so more before I take them off, just because they actually make my old legs feel good. Taking them off is a somewhat easy process of just putting the toe of one to the heel of the other and pulling your foot out. No real effort at all for doing this.Another thing I noticed is these boots are rather heavy. I'm telling this story not to make it sound like a critical comment, but rather, an observation for anyone that is less than a young person and in great physical shape. A normal youth. I'm older and things like this are more noticeable. Once I have the boots on, they don't "Feel Heavy." I do find though, I have to make a conscience effort at first to "Pick My Feet Up" when I'm walking or I kind of want to trip over my own feet. After a VERY short time, it's second nature. At first though, you'll find yourself stumbling a bit. A few minutes later, all is good. No noticeable extra effort or exertion to walk in them.I've written this review to be "Older Person to Older Person" because, that's what I am. All of my observations would be Moot if I were 30'ish.I'm a person that accepts the facts that my age and condition do indeed effect my use of a product. I write with that understanding and honesty too. I'm just Telling The Story. No intent to make it sound like a criticism. To be sure that there is no misunderstanding, I have Nothing negative to say. They're really good boots. Well made. Very Warm. Even the tags that were affixed to them when I got them were high quality. You can tell that the manufacturer and the people that made them have a lot of pride in their product and workmanship. Best Regards, Russ

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soaker-proof and tuff

*by T***. on December 28, 2017*

I wear a 10.5, sometimes 11. I bought a size 10 and they are a little big, even while wearing thick wool socks. They work great for me in the subzero winters of Northern New Hampshire. Finally, a chore boot that is waterproof and warm! Easy to get on and off. They are not hiking boots, but made great work boots around the farm.
