If you really want to see far down the road, probably go with more spots but again for the price, it's a decent light that is bright. I've only had it for about a month so can't speak for the longevity of the light and haven't driven in a rain or snow storm yet to see how waterproof it is. Put it on the front of my can am Maverick and wow, turns night to day. Came with kinda cheesy mounting brackets that probably would have worked in any other application but I needed super durable so ordered some and tweaked them to fit.
