When it arrives, the branches are somewhat compacted and you have to spread them out. **Q: Do these really look real? Even on a sunny, outdoor, uncovered patio where people will be seated right next to them? Thank you!!** A: If you're sitting directly next to it, you will probably be able to tell it's not real. Mine is right beside my front door, and everyone thinks it's real. I get compliments on it frequently. I really enjoy it! **Q: Does this product fade in the sun and how durable is it with sun and rain?** A: I have my plant in a shaded area by my front door which is why nothing real would grow there. I suppose you could spray suntan spray on it to protect it from the hot sun (I think it would work). I would think that the rain would not be a problem as it is plastic but I do think the spf spray would help with any possible fading. **Q: Re: circumference of the two balls: the answers vary; it sounds like circumference of balls is quite large. Can someone confirm exact dimensions?** A: The circumference of the top ball is 44" and the bottom one is 50". I have one on each side of my front door and they are perfect! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely stunning! *by on Reviewed in the United States March 11, 2024* I got exactly what I was looking for. Realistic look for fake plants and able to put flowers around the base for an even better look.I plan to change out the base flowers whenever I want for a completely different look to go with the seasons. I just took the concrete small base that the topiary plant comes in and placed it in a bigger pot, weighed it down with sand and pebble rock and put a mossy layer on top to finish it off. Now I have the perfect trees that require no watering and look fantastic all the time. Great value for the money! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous Curb Appeal *by on Reviewed in the United States May 21, 2019* I just received the topiaries for Mother's Day and added them to my existing urns. They are perfect and hassle-free. Required minimal fluffing out of the box. Yes, they look plastic up close, but the trunks are life-like and totally look amazing and high-end. You'll find me on my blog, Our Southern Home where I share how I "planted" them and on Instagram for more decor ideas @oursouthernhomeUpdate: 1 year later - they are still amazing! No breakage or fading. Mine are on a deep covered porch out of the elements. It has been the perfect solution for us. Nothing to keep watered on the porch or the mess that would come along with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and Classy! *by on Reviewed in the United States May 2, 2013* I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of these topiaries. I purchased 2 to go on each side of my front door. The base is heavy and weighted well to avoid any tipping. The trunks and leaves are very realistic looking. The balls were very resiliant and maintained their leaves great after having to reshape them due to the packaging for shipment. Once I placed them inside my own decorative pedestal pots and added real soil to secure them, they really do look almost real. We get many compliments on them and they dressed up our front porch and entry beautifully. I could not be happier and look forward to years of enjoyment and low maintenance.
