Abilitations set of three auditory fidgets provides sensory input to help improve focus and concentration. The fidget
toy has an hourglass shape filled with a non-toxic gel for squeezing back and forth between the chambers, encouraging
repetitive movement to improve side body coordination and helping to strengthen hands, wrists, and fingers. The fidgets
are delivered in three soothing color sets--yellow/green, blue/purple, and lime/green--for visual appeal, and when
pressed, make a squishy sound for auditory input. The toy also can be placed on the floor for foot exercise, and used as
a transition tool, such as during a car ride. The product’s exterior is durable vinyl plastic, which resists oil, has
low moisture absorption, and is non-conductive. The set includes an activity guide and a material data safety sheet
(MSDS) for product information, and may be suitable for children on the autism spectrum and for special needs, early
childhood, and elementary learning environments.
Special needs products are designed to help improve sensory processing, positioning and mobility, fine motor, and
language and communication skills for students with learning challenges. Fine motor products can help individuals
improve fine motor skills (hand dexterity), eye-hand coordination, handwriting, self-help skills, such as dressing, and
focus and concentration.
School Specialty provides instructional materials and supplies under dozens of brands, among them Abilitations, Think
