We live in a horrible tick hot spot in SE WI. Cedarcide is very light and easy to apply. No worries about mowing over "chips". I just cast it all over the dog yard with my hand, and used extra along buildings and fence lines. It makes your yard smell delicious! Do not apply this on a windy day. I have no idea how well it works, but I can say that it certainly can't hurt. I have two different types of natural flea collars on my dogs and spray them with Wondercide each day, and we are still picking ticks off the dogs.
