If my tip is slightly worn down from play the red colour sticks better.2.) I use a slightly harder tip than most players at my club naturally and once again, it sticks better to my harder tips.3.) It's bright red, no one accidently steals it! :D4.) I feel that when I'm using blue or green master chalk (pioneer, kamui or even silver cup chalk) I have to clean my cue ball more often as I'm distracted by the spots on my cue ball but with the red colour I don't see as many chalk marks or spots!5.) I used kamui chalk for a long while, it's mighty expensive, messy and unreliable, triangle chalk is inexpensive, relatively clean and has a better grip on the cue ball than any chalk I've used in the past, my soft screw shot I used to play with a bit of pace and end up UNDER-doing it by a long way, with this chalk I play with less pace and get the reaction I expect!6.)
