Replaceable?** A: Idk what size but it is inside the unit. It lasts at least 3 hrs. About 2 movies worth Or more. It comes with a charger for your home. we also used the one for the Phillips dvd that was a car charger. It is nice and works great, but we bought the smaller one for our daughter because the 9 in just always fell. She keeps control of the 7 in better. You can use it plugged in or use the battery that is in it. When we travel we plug it in at night and charge it for the next day. **Q: How do I get it to play without having to plug it in. I'm trying to use it with the battery power** A: I've never tried this....but I think you have to plug it in and "charge" the battery before you can play it without it being plugged in. **Q: Can you buy a car adapter for this unit?** A: I took it out of the box and if it can, it would be done through the cigarette lighter adapter type charger. **Q: Will the DVD player work without the headphones (with just an external speaker so kiddo does not have to wear the headphones)?** A: Yes it works without the headphones. My son never uses them but my daughter prefers the headphones.
