Review: Perfect for ankles that have pressure sores - Mom is 95, and sleeps on her left side which causes a pressure ulcer on her outer left ankle. I tried a donut cushion that Velcro's around the ankle and keeps the pressure off, which would work if she would use it, but the cushion is a tripping hazard if she has to get up to use the bathroom at night. This item is perfect, it goes on like a sock and she can wear it around the house or in bed without the danger of tripping over it. She says it is very comfortable, the cushions around the ankle bone protect it well. Now the ulcer can heal quicker.
