Visible in the daylight and just really looks great at night. I've not had it long so can't give feedback about the battery life but from reading other reviews they should last years. We simply leave it close to a window when we're away. It gives the impression that there is another and different security system inside as well as outside. So far it's very impressive and the light powerful enough to be seen through curtains. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple yet effective - Why spend more *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 April 2020* Was some what dubious about this item being effective, that being said it does do exactly what it says on the tin, simple electronics and easy to fit in a dummy alarm box, my only criticism would be using 3 AA's makes the power pack quite large compared to others who use smaller more powerful batteries.The LED isn't quite that bright in day light as some other more expensive set ups, this could be fixed if you mounted them directly to the front plastic casing using an LED mount.
