I have never seen any connectors as you have described. **Q: do these connectors have a eylet specifically to connect the drain wire to** A: Hi DavidI don't remember seeing an eyelet for the drain wire but I usually just loop this shield wire around one of the crimp ears. Then I crimp it together. I haven't seen a short yet on the 300 cables .Good Luck! **Q: Are these connectors the type that use the guide bar that you put all the connectors in first or just have to get all the connectors in manually.** A: I think you are referring to a flat plastic sleeve that the individual wires go into before sliding into the crimp connector (called a load bar). No they do not come with any load bars. With a little practice you can put ends on just as reliably without load bars.
