But will not work with an air pump, it’s too tightly sprung to open with for a air bubble pump. ### ⭐ Useless check valve *by S***N on February 14, 2026* Doesn’t work, if there’s no co2 pressure in the line then water goes right through which defeats its purpose ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stainless Check Valve *by B***F on June 29, 2024* Works with my pressurized CO² generator & diffuser. I prefer this type with the barbs, as it's less likely pressure build up, when clearing water from the tubing, blows the line off. Plus the stainless looks really cool with my black tubing. Gonna get more for my air bubbler too, because the line sometimes tend to disconnect there. It probably happens more often with timer setups. When the CO² and air pump are off water backs up to the check valve. When they're turned back on it initially takes more pressure to clear the lines of water than it would if they were constantly running. I try to put the check valve close to the water level so there's less water to clear out when the pump & gas are turned on.
