I would be afraid that it doesn’t have all the necessary nutrients a baby needs. I’m sure goat milk is very nutritious but it may not have all the vitamins, minerals that baby formula has. **Q: How much milk does the 2lb container make?** A: The label reads 1.5 cups powder plus 1.25 quarts of water makes 1/3 gallon goat milk. So how many cups in a pound of dry powder. The web says: Not all dry ingredients are created equal. One pound of all-purpose flour would yield 3.5 cups. One pound of unsifted confectioners sugar would yield 3 3/4 cups, and one pound of granulated sugar would yield 2 cups. You can do the math. **Q: Can this be used to make kefir?** A: You should be able to use our Goat Milk Powder (once reconstituted) in a kefir.
