For every 18 deg above 70, the time is cut by 1/2. Example: At 88 deg you've got about 20-25 min. This glue is structural and gap-filling, even mixed with cotton flox to a consistancy of creamy peanut butter. **Q: Is this sand-able without caking up sandpaper?** A: I sanded it and it didn't gum up the sandpaper, but it was a small patch. **Q: Would this work to fill surface scratches/gnawing in bamboo flooring? Max 1/4" deep and maybe 2-3" across.** A: I believe it would fill your scratches but if they’re 1/4” deep you may have to apply second coat as the liquid will leave a low spot because of shrinking. **Q: What is the difference between 1100k10 and 1100k14 t-88?** A: I’m not sure whether there is any difference except that the kits contain different amounts. I’ve purchased both kits and didn’t notice any difference in performance or appearance. T-88 is almost the standard epoxy for building wood aircraft. I reach for it any time I need joints to be absolutely waterproof and I have the time to let it set up. You could call the manufacturer . Strong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good open time/cherry cabinet door repair successful! *by on Reviewed in the United States March 8, 2018* I got this to repair a cherry cabinet door. I put aluminum heating tape (not duct tape, but you are supposed to use aluminum on ducts) on the front, good side, taping it very well, to contain the glue and to prevent the epoxy from leaking through cracks in the area where I was doing the repair. I then mixed the epoxy and used a hair dryer to heat it so it was more runny.. I then used some syringes with very thin tips to force the glue in the joints that were coming apart and also the cracks. I heated it again to make sure it dispersed into all the spaces. This also helps get rid of air bubbles and more glue goes into the crack/joint. I then clamped them. It has a long enough open time to get all the glue in there, use the dryer and get the clamps on. I had the clamps ready to go. And had done a dry run with clamps first. I waited till the next day to take off the clamps, just as extra insurance, since it takes 24 hours to fully cure.I had to do this twice to get different spots, but it worked like a charm. My door is stable and sound. I'm sure I will use it for other repairs. I hardly shows in the back since I used some tape to mask the areas I was gluing, leaving only thin cracks where I put the glue. The tape really keeps this out. The tape came off pretty easily when I took off the clamps, but ymmv, depending on surfaceIt was pricey, but I didn't want to risk a cheaper product and ruin the door which matches all the other doors.. Be careful not to overheat, but just till its the right consistency. Will bridge a gap while setting up and not shrink. 45 minute working time. It takes a few hours before it's semi hard.
