This was an awesome recording when first released. On playing it now, I found, some of the songs did not hold up well and his voice singing these songs sounded like he was just phoning it in.  Other songs were perfect Johnny Mathis. It has to be a matter of choice, therefore, “Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it”. After all... it IS Johnny Mathis

What a joy! My favorite album from my "tween" years! I had swiped it from my big sister, and now bought her this CD to replace the album I swiped. All the most beautiful songs, in that dreamy Johnny voice!! This album is a must-have for any Johnny Mathis fan!

I am a devoted Johnny Mathis fan and I am so glad to find this wonderful album again !!  I had this as a 78 many years ago and played it over and over till I wore it out and bought another one.  Over the years it eventually wore out also !!  I have many wonderful memories of dancing to and listening to the fantastic "Mathis  Sound" of  Johnnys recordings.Thanks for the memories and the opportunity to once again own my very own CD of "Heavenly"  again Amazon.  I am always so happy with all the music and movies I see on Amazon .  Thanks for making it possible and affordable to shop with you.
