    Buy the name brand - trust me!  The others are garbage.

This is the high-quality net I was looking for!  I bought another cheaper net from Amazon before this one, and it was a total piece of garbage.  I didn't get this one at first because I thought the extra price was just for the name.  Trust me: you want the name-brand.  This net is sturdy, well-made with high quality materials and manufacturing, and is dead-simple to assemble.  No tools required - just pop all the tubes together (you can do it without any instructions), slide the net on, and voila!  The 10' version also raises up to be a badminton net (or possibly volleyball - I don't know the required heights for those sports).  We have it set up in our basement right now since it's winter, and just play volley games with a foam ball, but this will go in our driveway in the spring - I can't wait!

I ordered the 18ft net and it was a hit with my kids.  It is very easy to assemble (the poles are all connected with bungee) and it has a convenient storage bag.  My only concerns are that it is lightweight so I will probably need something to weigh it down if it is windy out and the net pulls up the sides if you use the clips (maybe the net will relax after a few uses?).

My kids have had hours of outdoor fun playing mini tennis on our large patio/sport court in our back yard.  They use the Penn 36 QST foam balls and small rackets and play almost every day.  Their friends are excited to play mini tennis when they come over.  Our kids range from 12-15, however this net could be used to teach much younger kids to play tennis.  The net is holding up quite well, so far, especially considering that we leave it up outside all of the time, rain or shine.  Mostly shine here in Southern California.
