I'm just starting out with kettlebell workouts and not quite ready for heavier weights. So when I saw this for $41, I snagged it. I want to work up to the heavier weights but I need to learn proper form before I go for a heavier set. This set is perfect for progression if you're just starting out and you want a compact unit.Quality: Good! The lock mechanism on it is tight. You slide the red smaller lock down first, then slide the yellow one over. After that, you can twist the cap and pop the top off. Ok...so it takes a little time to do these 3 moves but I'm happier with knowing the weights aren't going to come flying out when I do swings. Safety first! Once you put everything back in place the weights inside don't jiggle.As for the body of the kettlebell. My small hands can hold it comfortably and maintain a good grip. The grey area have a slight texture to them so it's easy to hold. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality, great design *by D***D on October 22, 2012* Contains 2 concentric, precision machined inserts that allow the adjustment of weight. No rattling or movement of weights as described in description of similar products. Locking mechanism is dependable with dual action. The only thing I might have changed was making the naked weight 10 lbs and maybe using 3 inserts to increase number of weight choices. Don't know if those changes would have been cost prohibitive. The first was the heavier one and I ordered this one for my wife (using her Amazon account). I've used a bunch of different adjustable kettlebells before and this is by far the best. Here are some of the features you won't get with the others...- ZERO play with the weights. Using other brands, the weights bounce around and can throw the balance off.- True form of a kettlebell. Which means when it wrests on your forearm there no hard edges cutting into you.- Center of gravity of a true kettlebell regardless of which weight you use.
