I'm not sure, but it looks like these are some sort of chrome plated steel. Recommend cleaning them by hand and being gentle with them. I.e. don't use knives against them if the eggs are sticking (which they shouldn't if you oiled them properly), and don't let them bang around against other hard/metal objects.The smaller 3" ones are more biscuit sized, and the larger 3.5" ones are more English muffin sized.The brush is for spreading melted butter or oil on the rings so the eggs don't stick.All you have to do is pre-heat the rings on the cooking surface before you drop the egg in. When you drop the egg in, it should start cooking immediately and seal any small gap you might have at the bottom. Use a mitt to pull the rings as they will be hot by the time it's time to flip. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made and sturdy *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2019* I purchased the rings mainly to cook eggs to serve on English muffins. Once the eggs are formed and cooking, I found it best to remove the ring as the stainless steel does get hot to handle if left on until eggs are fully cooked. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thick and solid steel *by N***O on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2019* Used them on flat top grill for pancakes and eggs. They worked well other than food sticking to the sides a little. I used a knife to go around the edges.
