It has a 10 amp limit which would charge a 100-amp hour Lithium battery at 0.1C (one tenth battery capacity) but, most e-bike and scooter batteries are smaller. Connect the solar panels first since most e-bike batteries have a charge port that has a diode that prevents power out. The screen comes on and you can set the voltage and amperage for the battery - the numbers to put in are the output numbers of your AC charger. My charger says 54.6 volts at 2 amps (for a 48V battery) so that is what I put into the settings. You can save the settings in the "data" memory which has 20 spots to store different settings. This controller is for solar panels, but you could connect a battery to the solar inputs and the controller will charge your e-bike battery. A hint about the solar input - you can have more solar panels than needed to charge the battery. The wattage for charging my 48-volt battery is 109.2 watts but I will have 200 or 300 watts of solar panels to cover cloudy weather, the controller will charge the battery just like the AC charger. One other hint - there are screwdriver holes in the top of the unit so you can connect wires without taking it apart. ### ⭐ Only good for non-critical projects *by J***M on September 2, 2021* expect this item to fail or catch fire.
