DJI! Why didn't you send out this type of connector. - I was this close to returning my DJI Pocket 2 because I couldn't get the stupid thing to sync with my phone. I couldn't get it to sync with my phone because the DJI supplied USB C connector was too short. I tried it with my phone case, without the case and no matter what I couldn't get the phone to sync with the pocket 2. I eventually just used a USB C cable to set it up, but still needed a way to connect my phone to the pocket two so I could use the phone interface for recording. After dealing with the short connector issue, I took to desertcart to find a replacement and found this one. I had no idea if it would be longer than the supplied one, but it definitely is and definitely works better, and this one is what you need if you're not able to connect your phone via the supplied adapters. It's a shame DJI sends out such a faulty and defective adapter. Maybe it works for some phones (I imagine a small handful) but it didn't work for my Pixel 5 nor for my wife's Pixel 6 Pro no matter what we tried. So if you're in the same boat and about to punt your Pocket 2, try this connector out first. DJI! Why didn't you send out this type of connector. *by R***9 on March 15, 2022* I was this close to returning my DJI Pocket 2 because I couldn't get the stupid thing to sync with my phone. Fixes a design flaw by dji *by J***A on June 3, 2023* I was so excited to find this on Amazon. When I got my DJI pocket 2 and tried to connect my smartphone, I discovered the little adaptor that came with the phone is too short to use if you have your phone in a case. I can’t believe DJI didn’t realize this, but, violá…this fixes it! The plug is just slightly longer than the original and allows the phone to click into place even if it’s in a case! ## Frequently Bought Together - Hanatora USB-C Smartphone Adapter for DJI Pocket 2/Osmo Pocket Camera, Android Cellphone Connector Accessories(Type-c Adapter) - Smatree Portable Osmo Pocket 2 PowerStick (Power Bank) Compatible for DJI Osmo Pocket 2/1, Handheld Smartphone Holder Mount Bracket for OsmoPocket Camera --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/139844107-usb-c-smartphone-adapter-for-dji-pocket-2-osmo-pocket](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/139844107-usb-c-smartphone-adapter-for-dji-pocket-2-osmo-pocket) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
