Review: Happy Purchase! - Perfect counting book for PreK-1. Illustrations are fun and the rhyming is unique. Bought this for my 2 and 4 year old granddaughters (big hit), but I plan to give it as gifts to my kindergarten teacher friends as well. Great possibilities for counting to 12 and grouping by threes. Illustrations are cute without being overwhelming. Also like the use of number words for the counting. Could be set up to use for backward counting as well and matching words to numerals as related activities. This is the type of book that can be enjoyed with repeated readings without being tiresome…..
