Place the clip on one blade, turn the fan on, see if it wabbles. Turn the fan off, place the clip on the next blade, turn the fan on and compare. Do this with all the blades until you find the blade with the least wabble. That the blade the weights go on. I made absolutely sure that the surface area was prime to stick the flat lead weight to. I did this early in the morning and came back later in the day, when I turned my fan on about two minutes later , it flew right into a window and cracked shattered it. The glue does not stick well enough even apparently after having time to set which the directions do not state is necessary.
