Or, do I have to cut the cover up into 3 pieces?** A: One cover label would work. It wouldn't need to be cut up into three pieces. **Q: how would one make / print a cover for these** A: There are template softwares out there--along with glossy or matte paper inserts--that make it easy, but more expensive, to make labels but I simply use a Word document page in the "landscape" position. I insert a line box measuring 10.8" long and 7.25" high--the measurements necessary to create a label that will fit into a 14mm disc case--and I set about creating the cover. I would also recommend marking off a 14mm (roughly 5/8") area to mark what will be the spine separating the front and the back of the label. Looking at this template on your monitor, the front of the label will the on the right of the spine, with the spine in the center, and the remaining right space will be the rear of your label. Whether you use this method of creating a template or simply purchase a software that will do it for you, keep in mind that some printers may not print the full length of the final label just due to a conflict of printable margin space. The plastic sleeve on the outside is practically made of cellophane, and tears quite easily. The case itself is made of thin, cheap plastic that bends and cracks. Upon receiving my shipment, over half the cases were either ripped or broken. I've handled a lot of cases in my day, and these are by far the lowest quality I've ever seen. Warning: if you order this shipment, hang on to your packaging materials.
