Review: Awesome book - I teach 2nd grade and when I was in elementary school I hated math, therefore I try really hard to make math fun and engaging. This book is so fun! I love it, there are so many awesome and interesting connections between math and 'real' life. I will say 2nd grade is a little young, it's probably better for 4th-6th grade because some of the connections are little more advanced.

Such a fantastic book! Perfect for a read aloud, as it fosters lots of conversation ! I read this one to a group of 3rd graders and they couldn’t stop talking... They were able to draw parallels between themselves and the 2 voices of this story. This book helps children to see that Math is a bigger part of their lives than they may have realized: cooking, music, nature. Awesome read!
