The largest brace I could find in the local stores was still too small, and the band was narrow and would constantly roll up on me, making it completely uncomfortable as it dug into my waist.This brace is very wide which definitely helps prevent some rolling, though I found that if I tried to wear it while sitting, it still tried to roll on me--but it was much better than the store brace I had! Plus it is wide enough that it holds my waist in - I don't have fat rolls hanging over the top (sorry for the disgusting image that might conjure, but it's a fact of life I deal with and wanted to prevent!)The problem I've been encountering is very bad back pain and stiffness whenever I must stand for periods of time for my job, and this brace definitely relieved that pain, and it isn't too uncomfortable.Pros:* wide length - stays around my waist, holds in my waist, and resists rolling better than narrower braces found in stores* good sizing - this brace will definitely fit according to the sizing it says it will - in fact, my is almost too large! If I manage to succeed in my diet and loose some weight, I'm going to have to go back and order the next size down!* good support - when I wear the brace, it does its job and relieves the strain on my back so that I can stand and work for hours without being in extreme pain or becoming stiff.*decently comfortable - it can take a bit to get it adjusted just right, and it does sometimes tend to slip on me, but over all, it's not uncomfortable to wear, even for extended periods during the course of a work day.Cons:* instructions on how to wear it are horrible - the pictures are tiny and in black and white and are very hard to see; the written instructions are poor at best.
