What I can say is that I have put my lunch in the bag straight from the refrigerator at 8:30am and left it in the bag until about 1-1:30pm it was cool still it certainly kept it well enough in my opinion. Yogurt was cool after a couple of hours with no ice pack. With an ice pack it would have kept cold a lot longer. **Q: Is this bag fit for school?** A: Bought this lunch bag for my 23 yr old daughter and she loves it.
