They lost their ability to repel water and they STUNK lol. I soaked them in a mixture of peroxide, baking soda and dish soap (great for removing skunk smell from dogs), scrubbed then rinsed them thoroughly. I put them on a boot dryer for three days. Per the instructions I ran them under the faucet to get them wet prior to applying the waterproofing on the exterior. I let them sit for a few days to dry naturally and they’re waterproof again, look great and don’t stink anymore! Great product! Saved me $240 for a new pair of boots.
