It is specifically designed to clean the old oil out of suspension forks/parts/shock/damper before rebuilding with fresh oil. Also is claimed to have a very minimal effect if any on o-rings,seals etc... **Q: Anyone use this on bike disc brake rotors/pads/assembly for cleaning? If so, does it affect stopping power negatively or positively?** A: I havent tried it on brake rotors, however I have heard of ppl using it to clean them. I use it and finish up with an air compressor and a rag.
