Review: Mysterious… - I must admit I did initially buy this perfume for myself but then I felt bad for my partner because I have like 3 boxes of stuff coming a day and he gets nothing lol so while opening my Chanel lotion 👀 I pretended I thoughtfully bought him this. Instant regret! The perfume smells absolutely gorgeous! It reminds me of Jo Malone oud and bermagot before they changed to ingredients to something you would find in Poundland or even the perfume All good things by lush (one of my fave discontinued perfumes) At first you are hit with a Smokey incense, think meditation retreat,candles,Buddha statue,calming mind and cleansing smoke. It them transforms into a Smokey sweet scent like caramel oud and insence smoke. Finally it settles down into a sort of Smokey wood/ fresh newspaper/oud/tonka scent that’s not quite as impressive as the top and middle notes (yes I know they are not in the description) but still very nice however it was at this point I knew that I actually did make the right choice gifting it to my partner since it definitely smells masculine once dry. It’s very much a skin scent and lasts all day long on him, it’s one of those scents that just have you in your partners neck sniffing all day!
